"Sweet Baby"

I must admit this was really a fun class that I gave. I brought back memories when Joshua was just a tiny little baby and all the emotion and love came flooding back again.

I designed this page for a baby girl or boy layout. As I have scrappers that have little princesses as grandchildren too.

Here are the pictures of my layout as taught on the 24th May 2014.

Kaisercraft "Limelight" class

Its been a crazy two weeks with all the public holidays and trying to get back to routine again. Had a bot of a break and had a class on the 28th April 2014.

The class was done using papers from the "Limelight" collection from Kaisercraft.

I taught my ladies to use stamps on there pages, heat embossing and much more.

Here are some close up pics of the class layout I did.

Supreme Scrapbook Challenge No 2

I must admit these last two challenges have eally been fun for me, I never really get time to scrapbook unless I am doing a class layout, and I now I am forced to do these challenges, which I am thoroughly enjoying.

I am really going to make more time to scrapbook.

Here is my layout for "MONOCROMATIC CHALLENGE NO 2" - I went with different shades of blue.

SUPREME SCRAPBOOK  CHALLENGE - CHALLENGE 1

Well here is my take on the chanllenge – 1000 Steps from home….

I stencilled the letters with clear embossing ink and then heat embossed with copper embossing powder,  I then inked the lettes with Ourdoorsy olive distress ink

I inked the tree with distress inks and heat embossed with thick clear embossing powder

I inked the chipboard leaves with distress ink and then applied clear gloss over the leaves

The chipboard hearts were distressed and inked and I applied thick glear embossing powder over them. I also used Gesson on my pages.

Gesso applied with a stencil to the edges of the page and page distressed with inks and chalk

How I created my page :

I inked my page with Tim Holtz distress inks, then painted gesso over the ink and stencilled with gesso.

The hearts, leaves and tree was inked and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

On my title letters I used a stencil and embossed with copper embossing powder. I also inked the letters.

A lot of use of distress inks, chalks and embossing powders.

Smile - Mixed media layout

Well I have finally done another mixed media layout, I just played around with everything yesterday and I just love the colours and how this page turned out, Cannot wait to play! again. I misted the right hand corner and splattered paint onto it.

A close up of the corrugated cardboard I used, I applied Gesso here and just layers of paints and gesso. I stencilled the bricks with texture paste and painted over it and applies gesso afterwards to lighten the paint. The big flower with the gold middle I made myself.
